Private family beta

Beta Terms

Version beta-2026-07-31 · Effective July 31, 2026

The beta is free

The family beta is provided without charge. Beta features may change, be interrupted, or contain errors while the service is tested. Please use the feedback tools to report problems, and keep independent copies of information your household cannot afford to lose.

Future commercial service

The Fridge Door is being developed as a commercial, for-profit service. Future revenue may include free and paid plans, contextual advertising, clearly identified affiliate links, or a combination of these approaches.

We will not charge a beta participant without an affirmative plan selection and payment authorization. Before requiring an existing beta household to select a plan or materially limiting its beta access, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice. During that period, the household will retain access to its beta features and have an opportunity to choose an available plan, export its information, or delete its account.

Household responsibilities

Use the service only for lawful household coordination. Household administrators are responsible for inviting appropriate members, selecting accurate adult or minor tiers, managing supervised profiles, and protecting account access. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use or content that creates an unreasonable safety or privacy risk.

Your content

Household members retain ownership of their content. They give The Fridge Door the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service as described in the Privacy Notice.

Account and service changes

We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address security concerns. Material changes to these terms will be versioned and presented for review when renewed agreement is appropriate.
